Nqabeni sets his sights on the Absa Premiership
Andile Nqabeni has been playing his football in Poland for KS Proch Pionki ever since he left our shores in 2017, the Mthatha born is a product of the Kaizer Chiefs youth development structures which he joined in 2007. He was promoted to the Amakhosi first team by then head coach Vladimir Vermezovic with the likes of Lucky Baloyi, Edwin Sitayitayi, and Abraham Jacobs.
The Pionki striker has is no stranger to European football as he was also in the books of SC Estrela Portalegre in Portugal. “Etoo” is currently exercising his options on whether to stay in Europe or come back home.
“I miss home and i wouldnt mind coming back home, as long as the right offer from a good team comes i will consider it”
Nqabeni has never played in the Absa Premiership but has turned out for a few National First Division sides like FC Cape Town, Thanda Zulu Royals, Moroka Swallows and Santos.
“Playing in the Absa Premiership is one of my goals and I am hoping that soon I will realise it. Its just a matter of getting that opportunity as i have learned a lot here in Poland and I hope what I have learned will make excel when I get the chance back at home”
