“Its not about who we come up against in this cup ” Manaka

The road to the Wafa Wafa final continues tonight, as Polokwane City travel to Makhulong Stadium to take on Highlands Park. The first leg encounter ended in a 0-0 draw at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. it’s all to play for in Tembisa tonight, Echaphazeni caught up with Edgar Manaka from Polokwane City before this crucial clash.

“For us, at Polokwane City, it’s not about who we come up against in this competition, it’s about the team and the people that are back at home who support us. We want to do this for ourselves and our families” said the midfielder.

Stiga has been one of the players that have really shown that with age comes maturity, he has been a crucial member of ‘Rise and Shine’ and its no fluke that he is always in the team of Zlatko Krmpotic and he hasn’t disappointed his coaching. It will be a tough clash tonight for both sides.

“Look in the first leg, it was tough, it was a bit of a mental game and yes we played at home but you can see that our away record has been good. We are going to Makhulong with the utmost respect for Highlands Park and on the field, it will be 11 v 11” concluded Manaka
